Your day ashore

How a cruise hike works

Everything is planned around your time in port, so you can relax and enjoy the trail.

Walking with children, or travelling light?

We can lend trekking poles, and we have a few child carriers so a small child can ride on an adult’s back. Where a hike includes transport, we can fit suitable child seats — just tell us the children’s ages when you book. Numbers are limited, so let us know as early as you can. Children aged 8–16 pay a lower price, and children under 8 go free.

Choose your hike

Pick a departure that fits your ship’s time in port and all-aboard time.

Warm up after the hike.

Badestova’s fjord-side sauna is a short walk from the pier. Book it together with your hike and get 15% off both: 90 minutes of heat, and the fjord right outside for a dip before you head back to the ship.
