Fjord Helikopter AS is a local helicopter company based at Stryn Heliport. Alongside work such as cargo lifting, inspections and aerial filming, they fly sightseeing trips that show the region from a completely different angle.

From the air, the scale of the landscape becomes clear: deep fjords, green valleys, glaciers and high mountain lakes, all within a short flight.

Flights from four heliports

What you see depends on where you take off:

  • Nordfjordeid: fjords, glaciers and mountain scenery
  • Stryn: the Jostedalsbreen glacier, Lovatnet and the surrounding peaks
  • Loen: fjords, glaciers, Lovatnet and Ramnefjellet
  • Geiranger: Geirangerfjorden, Briksdalsbreen and the Seven Sisters waterfall

Flight options vary by heliport, and prices depend on the distance from their base at Stryn Heliport.
